My dear Co-Professionals and associates. Good morning!
It is with a deep sense of appreciation and responsibility that I wish to, once more, convey the gratitude of our new Exco and myself to you for the confidence reposed in us to be elected to lead our elite club – The League of Akwa Ibom Professionals, National Headquarters, Abuja – for the next two years. We say again thank you very much.
We hereby reiterate our resolve to improve the narrative of our beloved League, the state and the larger Nigeria, by making the 2020 – 2022 League a projects league. This means that we will take the economic and development focus of the Government of our dear state, ably led by HE Governor Udom Emmanuel as the departure point. We will leverage our rich membership and reach to drive, broker and mobilize investment and projects to our state while implementing programs that enhance the capacities, especially entrepreneurship and enterprise capacities, of our members and fellow citizens. It is with this business model that we hope to contribute to the creation of jobs, employment and the good life to the state and the larger Nigeria. This business model is summarized in my 3 – arms (IPC) work program on Institutional development, Projects promotion/delivery and Communications.
I call on all Professionals of Akwa Ibom extraction to connect with this vision and the platform however they can. Particularly, join us in the regular monthly and relevant extra-ordinary and special meetings whether on-line or physical, to make their contributions. Above all, leverage current media vehicles to send ideas and other forms of support for the work of LAKPROF. NO PROFESSIONAL SHOULD STAND BY THE SIDE !
